Rocky Mountain National Park is a special trip for us and the cabins at Streamside on Fall River are one of the reasons. A secluded location with the river yet only a few minutes from Estes Park Downtown and the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. We couldn’t ask for a better stay as this place has it all from the views to luxury amenities. It is a great place to stay if you are in the area. Check it out:
Why did we pick this place?
Its prime location sitting at the foot of the mighty Rocky Mountains attracted us. Located in the small town – Estes Park, the cabins at Streamside on Fall River are bundled with luxury amenities like a jacuzzi, massage services, and a fireplace.
What struck me at first look?
Loved its setup. Cabins are located along the Fall River. Also, the recent snowstorm blanketed the whole place with several inches of snow giving the mountains a dreamy look.
Check-in process?
Smooth. After booking online, we stopped for a quick 5 min at the reception who gave us keys and all the information about the cabin and the town. Also, suggested for best take-outs in the area.
What did we love about the room?
One thing that obviously stood out is a jacuzzi on the patio next to Fall River with the views of snow-capped mountains. Rest all about the same- fully functional kitchen, moderate size bedroom, and bathroom. The fireplace is also easy to operate.
Are there any special amenities worth talking about?
We have added the couple’s massage package while booking the room for a very affordable price. The massage and total experience are fabulous.
The best part of the stay?
Definitely, the jetted hot tub on our patio. It is private yet in an open space. The feeling of being in the hot tub while it’s snowing and in such low temperatures is above the world. It is such a relaxing and memorable experience.
The one other thing to know about the place?
We were looking for jetted hot tubs and the website does not have any for two people. I am glad I called the resort. The lady provided an upgraded cabin for the same price. I was able to add a couple’s massage package as well for a much better price.
So if the rooms are not as per your expectations online, a call can go a long way.
In short:
It is one perfect resorts in the area. In summer and winter, the resort itself has a lot of fun activities to do for both adults and kids from fishing, horseback riding, skiing, wildlife, and mountain views. All right on the premises. Great cabins to stay in while visiting Rocky Mountain National Park.
